Marketing, Sales & Commercial Growth — Charlotte Recap
Charlotte got a full day of real talk on growing a cleaning business.
On Monday, September 15, 2026, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Pat Clark and Ron Musgraves hosted a free Marketing, Sales & Commercial Growth event for pressure washing and exterior cleaning contractors. We met at Bright Brothers Shop, 4123 Rose Lake Drive, Suite G, Charlotte, NC 28217 — a working contractor shop, not a hotel ballroom. Admission was free. The day was part of the training tied to National Cleaning Expo.
No stage show. Equipment, trucks, and people who do this work for a living, talking about marketing, sales, commercial accounts, and recurring revenue you can take home and use.
What We Covered
The day stayed focused on practical growth for contractors who want more than price-only bids:
- Marketing — getting in front of the right customers and building a brand that supports long-term work
- Sales — selling value, not just the lowest number; clearer conversations, follow-up, and closing profitable jobs
- Commercial accounts — shopping centers, retail, restaurants, gas stations, commercial buildings, parking areas, and multi-location work
- Community / HOA management sales — approaching community managers and positioning as a reliable long-term provider
- Residential sales — value, trust, and a better customer experience on house work
- Recurring revenue — building relationships that turn one job into ongoing accounts
Hosted at a Real Shop
Bright Brothers Shop gave the room the right setting. Contractors learn differently when they’re surrounded by the same kind of equipment and systems they run every week. That was the point of holding it there.

Thanks to Bright Brothers for opening the shop, to Pat Clark for co-leading the day, and to every contractor who showed up ready to grow. See you at the next one.
